Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Full Time Female Specimen Collector II in Dickson, TN, working Monday–Friday 10am–6:30pm. Travel may be required.

The role involves collecting urine and oral fluid specimens, processing and packaging for shipping, and serving as the liaison between clinics and the laboratory while ensuring accurate patient information, physician orders, and lab data. You will observe collections, maintain supplies, and travel as needed to multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years in the medical field, directly supporting patients.
• 2+ years of customer service experience can substitute for medical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate a smartphone and computer.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• HIPAA, confidentiality and compliance policies must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as intermediary between practice/clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician orders, and lab data.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in the portal.
• Maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens as applicable.
• Travel to multiple facilities; occasional overnight coverage.
