Job summary

Allegion is offering a Summer Intern, Product Data position on the Global Engineering Solutions team, based in the Colorado Springs area. You will help define requirements, test tool enhancements, and develop training materials to improve product data integrity for current products.

You will gain experience collaborating across functions, learning material compliance and sustainability in the door hardware industry, and building communication skills through customer service and training

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a relevant technical field.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative.
• Experience with 3D CAD Modeling and PLM software; Creo/Windchill preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with an international team to produce and implement well-rounded CAD and/or PLM solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement on Allegion’s globally used Enterprise processes.
• Develop, release, and maintain process related documentation and training materials.
• Leverage AI tools to evaluate processes and increase product data efficiencies.
• Learn and evaluate shared best practices on product data software tools and capabilities.
• Update CAD and/or PLM product data to comply with internal best practices and standards.
• Deepen your understanding in CAD modeling and product data management best practices.
• Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities within Allegion.
