Animal Medical Center of Seattle (AMCS) in Shoreline, WA, is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our Internal Medicine team. You will assist in examinations, restrain patients during procedures, and support physicians with medications and post-operative care.

Qualifications

• CT imaging experience is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency with basic computer functions and veterinary software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Able to communicate professionally with staff, clients, and the public.
• Must read, write and speak English fluently.
• High school diploma or GED; two years veterinary experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient exams, restrain animals, and take radiographs.
• Prepare exam rooms and record vital signs in medical records.
• Communicate with clients in person, by phone, and by email.
• Support admissions, facility maintenance, and supply management.
• Provide postoperative and routine patient care as directed.
