Job summary

CHI St. Vincent is seeking a Specialty Surgical Tech to support all phases of the surgical procedure. You will prepare the operating room, assist the surgeon, and manage instruments while maintaining a sterile field.

You must be able to rotate call and respond within 30 minutes for procedures. We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible hires, plus referral incentives, relocation assistance, tuition reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing with attendance of the core curriculum for perioperative nursing or equivalent training
• Graduate of an approved surgical technology program (one or two year program)
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and assist the surgeon
• Manage instruments and supplies and maintain a sterile field
• Collaborate with the surgical team and anticipate team needs for efficiency and safety
• Rotate call and report within 30 minutes when called for a procedure
