Job summary

Steel Warehouse is seeking a dynamic Mechanical Engineer to join our team and drive the development of cutting-edge mechanical products and systems. You will design, analyze, and optimize components and assemblies to meet quality, safety, and performance standards throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Five years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design engines, machines, instruments, controls, or robots.
  • Collaborate with design team to create sketches, layouts, and plans.
  • Use CAD software to create preliminary and detailed drawings.
  • Produce specifications and select materials and components for production.
  • Build models and prototypes and test the design.
  • Analyze test data and compare with similar designs.
  • Develop control systems and monitor production.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team and drive the development of cutting-edge mechanical products and systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical components and assemblies, ensuring they meet rigorous standards for quality, safety, and performance. Your expertise will contribute to the full lifecycle of product development, from conceptual design through manufacturing support. Duties/Responsibilities
  • Designs products such as engines, machines, instruments, controls, or robots.
  • Works with a design team to create design sketches, layouts, and plans.
  • Uses computer-assisted design (CAD) software to create preliminary and detailed drawings of the product.
  • Produces specifications for products and chooses raw materials and components to be used in production.
  • Builds models and prototypes of the product and tests the design.
  • Studies the test data and makes comparisons with similar designs.
  • Develops control systems and monitors production.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
