Premier Precision Machining, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our forward-thinking team. You will design, analyze, and improve mechanical systems, develop prototypes, and use CAD tools to meet customer specifications and industry standards.

Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and procurement, manage timelines, support production readiness, and maintain thorough engineering documentation in compliance with AS9100.

Qualifications

Job Duties

Design and Development

Create and refine mechanical components and processes using CAD software.

Develop prototypes and oversee testing to validate design functionality and performance.

Ensure components meet customer specifications.

Analysis And Problem-Solving

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and procurement, to support project objectives.

Communicate technical findings and project updates to stakeholders.

Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful execution.

Manufacturing Support

Assist in the transition of components to production.

Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve production challenges.

Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Compliance And Documentation

Maintain accurate engineering documentation, including technical drawings, processes, and specifications.

Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards and regulations.

Ensure compliance with Rand's AS9100 Quality Management System

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field Preferred.

Experience in Defense related Manufacturing is a plus.

Experience with CNC machining is a plus.

Prior Management Experience is a plus.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo).

Strong analytical skills.

Knowledge of materials science, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Strong communication and project management skills.
