Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative in the Richmond, VA region. The role focuses on delivering clinical knowledge about Amgen products to medical professionals and navigating the complex payer environment to promote patient access and appropriate product use.

You will lead sales programs, build territory plans, and collaborate with colleagues to drive results while upholding Amgen's values and high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
• Sales experience in pharma/biotech is required or preferred.
• Ability to communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals and navigate payer environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals.
• Lead branded sales messages and programs to achieve territory targets.
• Develop accounts and manage product access, reimbursement, and contracts.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory planning.
• Maintain passion for products and Amgen values throughout the sales cycle.
