Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Eyecare Sales professional in the Providence, RI area to own territory plans and drive growth. You will manage multi-location practices, lead compliant data reviews, and educate eyecare professionals on patient selection and workflow.

Job description

  • Own the territory plan, including segmentation, call cadence, routing, and coverage across independent OD/MD practices, multi-location groups, and relevant accounts
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and manage the funnel, forecasts, and activity metrics with disciplined CRM usage
  • Lead compliant in-office data reviews, trainings, and lunch-and-learns for eyecare professionals
  • Educate practices on patient selection, expected outcomes, safety, onset/duration, and practice workflow
  • Translate clinical evidence into practice behaviors such as screening prompts, exam-lane cues, and intake questions
  • Equip staff with tools that convert interest into consistent use and capture field insights to refine messaging and resources
  • Position and drive adoption of an out-of-pocket therapy, setting expectations for value, usage, and follow-up
  • Utilize starter resources and patient materials compliantly
  • Document customer feedback and insights and share them with appropriate internal partners
  • Execute brand strategy and digital tools flawlessly
  • Support regional/national meetings and POAs and share repeatable best practices
  • Adhere to compliance requirements, including adverse event reporting and HCP interactions
  • Build relationships with Optometrists and Ophthalmologists and convert first prescriptions into durable growth
  • Report to the Area Sales Director
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of a documented track record of success in sales required
  • Pharmaceutical, medical, or closely related sales experience is a plus
  • Eye-care or contact lens sales preferred
  • Pharma launch experience preferred
  • Start-up experience is a plus
  • Comfort with selling cash-pay/elective therapies and discussing affordability with practices and patients
  • Currently have and maintain an unexpired driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record

  • Ability to travel to client sites and navigate office buildings, parking lots, outdoor settings, and transit centers
  • Ability to operate a computer and communicate effectively in a remote work environment
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, participate in video or phone meetings, and use standard office equipment
  • Ability to lift and transport materials up to 25 pounds occasionally
