Job summary

UofL Health in Louisville, KY is expanding into Specialty Pharmacy at UofL Hospital. The Clinical Support Pharmacy Technician supports daily workflow in ULH Specialty Pharmacy and serves as liaison with the ACB Outpatient Retail Pharmacy team.

You will assist pharmacists, perform dispensing tasks, conduct patient calls, gather clinical data, and ensure accurate documentation in the pharmacy IT systems while upholding regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of pharmacy work experience, specialty pharmacy preferred.
• High school diploma or GED; state-certified pharmacy technician.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Ability to follow provider protocols and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with patient care and dispensing tasks.
• Conduct medication adherence calls and gather clinical data.
• Process orders and ensure accurate patient histories.
• Coordinate with medication access coordinators for authorizations.
