Omnicell, Inc. is hiring a Specialty Pharmacy Technician in New Orleans to support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing specialty medications.

You will deliver personalized patient service, answer questions, and help patients navigate complex therapies while maintaining accuracy in records and billing. The role emphasizes knowledge of autoimmune, oncology, Hepatitis C, and HIV therapies, and requires standing and light lifting.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Active license/registration with the Louisiana State Board of Pharmacy.
• Two years of Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications to ensure correct drug, dosage, and patient safety.
• Provide exceptional customer service in person and by phone; actively listen and guide patients.
• Develop knowledge of specialty diseases (autoimmune, oncology, Hep C, HIV) to better assist patients.
• Accurately enter patient, medication, billing, and sales data into systems for a safe, compliant experience.
• Support and collaborate with the pharmacy team to improve operations and patient care.
