Omnicell, Inc. is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Technician in New Orleans, LA to support pharmacists and help ensure patients receive the right medications and dosages.

You will provide personalized service in person and by phone and learn specialty diseases to better assist patients. Responsibilities include accurate data entry for patient, medication, billing, and sales, and contributing to team improvements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Active, non-expired License/Registration from the Louisiana State Board of Pharmacy.
• Two to Three years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Active Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT): PTCB or NHA accepted.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications to ensure correct medication and dosage.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients in person and by phone.
• Enter patient, medication, billing, and sales data into systems accurately.
• Learn and demonstrate understanding of specialty diseases to serve patients.
• Support and help improve the pharmacy and team at Omnicell.
