Job summary
Intermountain Health's Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Technician for a part-time, 20-hour weekly schedule, Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with no weekends or holidays. You will assist pharmacists in preparing prescriptions and coordinating medication access in a fast-paced specialty setting.

Qualifications
- High School or equivalent is required.
- Current pharmacy technician certification/license applicable to state of practice.
- Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations and drug distribution rules.
Responsibilities
- Assists pharmacist in collecting clinical and patient information and maintains records.
- Prepares medication orders for dispensing and performs calculations per policy.
- Ensures supervision and accuracy checks by pharmacists.
- Maintains medication supplies and monitors controlled substances inventory.
- Packages and labels medications to minimize waste and ensure accuracy.
- Communicates with caregivers and participates in safety and quality initiatives.
