Job summary

Corewell Health Taylor Hospital in Taylor, MI, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy team in a full-time capacity. The role supports designated areas, maintains quality, and participates in area-specific training.

A MI pharmacy tech license is required upon hire, with a high school diploma and 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred. Typical shift is rotating, with 40 hours per week and hours between early morning and late evening.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmacy preferred.
• MI Pharmacy Technician license upon hire required.

Responsibilities

• Operates in designated area of specialty or assigned responsibilities above and beyond technician duties.
• Assumes ownership and ensures quality and completeness of work assigned.
• Responsible for data collection and/or reporting related to assigned area/project.
• Serves as a role model and leader in the department.
• Escalates any concerns that are identified in their area of work through chain of command.
• Adheres to USP guidelines to maintain compliance in sterile compounding sites.
• Participates in training others in area of specialty.
