Banner Pharmacy Services in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Technician to join our outpatient Specialty Care team. You will assist with preparation, dispensing, insurance billing, and patient-facing duties in a fast-paced setting.

The role supports specialty medications and disease states, with an emphasis on accurate data entry, claims processing, and patient communication. Prior specialty experience is preferred, and the position is full-time on a day shift.

Qualifications

• Requires Pharmacy Technician license and active certification OR Pharmacy Intern licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Ability to complete 160 hours of on-the-job training.
• Strong customer service focus and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Enroll patients in specialty pharmacy services and collect relevant medical and insurance information.
• Work in a call center environment and help patients overcome financial barriers to treatment.
• Provide adherence management and record-keeping for accreditation and contracts.
• Assist with inventory management, claims processing, and reporting to maintain URAC accreditation.
• Prepare, dispense, and deliver medications under supervision of a pharmacist.
