Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician license is required in the state of practice (Virginia).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPhT license preferred; certification through NHA or PTCB accepted.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience; prior customer service preferred.

Responsabilités

• Fill and deliver medications under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Triages questions and escalates issues outside scope of practice.
• Maintain quality assurance per department and legal requirements.
• Operate pharmacy equipment and use patient information systems.
• Participate in training of new employees.
