Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support registered pharmacists by processing orders, stocking inventory, and assisting patients with prescriptions. The role includes outpatient and inpatient responsibilities and adherence to HIPAA and company policies.

This position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for a 1-year commitment and requires completion of a technician training program or equivalent experience, plus appropriate state registration.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy tech certification (CPhT) or ExCPT required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a pharmacy tech training program or 1 year equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Process medication orders including computer entry and preparation for pharmacist review.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and supplies per procedures and policies.
• Provide courteous customer service by taking prescriptions and documenting required information.
