Job summary

Penn Highlands Healthcare is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Retail Pharmacy Manager. Under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist, the Technician will enter and fill medication orders, maintain drug inventory and records, and assist customers and patients.

The role involves handling billing/crediting processes within the Pharmacy Department and contributing to efficient pharmacy operations. Relevant certifications or licensure are required or can be completed within specified

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• PA Licensed Practical Nurse or temporary permit required, with license within 90 days of hire.
• Certification as Pharmacy Technician required or obtained within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Enter and fill medication orders under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Maintain drug inventory and records; assist customers/patients.

Summary:

AS THE PHARMACY TECHNICIAN, you will be responsible to the Retail Pharmacy Manager. • Advanced computer skills - proficiency in Microsoft office applications.
