Job summary

Penn Highlands Healthcare is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work under the Retail Pharmacy Manager and the direct supervision of the Pharmacist. The technician will enter and fill medication orders, maintain drug inventory, and assist customers with billing and crediting within the Pharmacy Department.

Qualified candidates must be PA-registered as Pharmacy Technician or Technician Trainee at hire, with certification within 2 years or grandfathered by 06/28/2026.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with PA State Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee at hire
• Certified Pharmacy Technician within 2 years of hire date or grandfathered by 06/28/2026
• Advanced computer skills or proficiency in Microsoft Office (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Enter and fill medication orders under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist
• Maintain drug inventory and records
• Assist customers/patients with questions and billing/crediting processes within the Pharmacy Department
• Support Retail Pharmacy Manager in daily operations
