Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, Missouri is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to process and verify medication orders, monitor patient therapies, and provide drug information. The role includes supervising support staff and, in the absence of the pharmacy manager, assuming essential responsibilities of the manager.

Required is a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school; Doctorate of Pharmacy preferred with ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency. Missouri-licensed candidates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelors in Pharmacy - Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy
• Preferred: Doctorate of Pharmacy - Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency
• Experience: Required: No Prior Experience Required
• Preferred: 2 years healthcare setting or equivalent residency training

Responsibilities

• Process and verify medication orders; monitor patient therapies and provide drug information.
