Alameda Health System in Hayward, CA is seeking a detail‑oriented Pharmacy Technician to support the Adult Immunology Clinic’s specialty pharmacy operations. You will coordinate patient deliveries, enroll new referrals, and manage prior authorizations and reimbursements to maximize patient access to therapy.

The role involves maintaining Epic Hyperspace records and collaborating with pharmacists and prescribers.

Formación

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with California State Board of Pharmacy.
• Associate's degree is required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Minimum one year of experience in specialty pharmacy coordination.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate delivery and track medication shipments with the delivery vendor.
• Process new and refill orders and enroll patients in therapy programs.
• Submit pharmacy claims and review billing for high-cost medications.
• Maintain patient reimbursement activity and generate monthly reports.
• Support prior authorization processes with payers and prescribers.
• Coordinate courier deliveries for clinic patients.
• Assist with administrative and operational duties as required.
