Job summary

Brown University Health Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support specialty medication preparation and distribution. Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; completion of 1-2 years of college preferred.
• Maintains current unrestricted Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician licensure.
• Sits for and obtains National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with customers/patients, providers, nurses, and staff with a strong customer service orientation.
• Uses pharmacy systems to input and retrieve patient information and process payments.
• Assist pharmacists in training, onboarding, and supporting staff; rotate to applicable assignments as needed.
