Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, through CPS, seeks a full-time Specialty Pharmacy Liaison to coordinate pharmacy services within the health system. You will support patients, providers, and pharmacists, focusing on prescription capture, follow-up counseling, and effective communication across care teams.

You will handle prior authorizations, assist with financial aid, update clinical data, and support administrative tasks while collaborating with the CPS Patient Care Services team under pharmacist

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Maryland pharmacy technician registration or ability to obtain before hire.
• Experience interacting with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival at the clinic.
• Explain benefits of the specialty pharmacy and enroll patients.
• Perform insurance benefit investigations and prior authorizations.
