Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited educational institute.
• Current pharmacist license in the states within the district.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance.
• Has completed specialized training regarding medication and disease state or has sufficient practical experience that is necessary to provide specialized services offered at clinic location (HIV, Organ Transplant, Oncology, etc.).

• Oversees patient experience by ensuring empathetic service and addressing inquiries to ensure positive outcomes.
• Manages daily pharmacy department operations to optimize performance and customer service.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state laws, records, and reports; manages asset protection and inventory control.
• Maintains proper operation of pharmacy systems, equipment, and third‑party billing workflows; reduces payment rejections.
• Supervises pharmacy staff, ensuring licensure and training on payer and contractual requirements.
• Maintains ongoing professional development and knowledge of pharmacy practice and healthcare trends.
• Forges relationships with physicians and health professionals to support collaborative care.
