Memorial Hermann Specialty Pharmacy seeks a Fulfillment Pharmacist to join our team in Katy. This position supports both Specialty and Retail Pharmacies and requires travel to multiple sites as needed for coverage. Schedule: M-F, 8 a.m.–6 p.m., with one weekend per month.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in clinical area of practice.
• Specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• prepares labels and dispenses medications per physician prescriptions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Answers questions and provides information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, administration and storage.
• Reviews prescriptions for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
• Maintains complete and accurate business and clinical records.
• Mentors pharmacy staff and oversees technicians, students or residents.
