Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Retail Pharmacist to support its Retail Pharmacy network on an as-needed basis. The role requires a flexible schedule to cover immediate needs and may float to multiple locations including Cypress, Sugar Land, and The Woodlands to support hospital and home health services.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD, Texas pharmacy license, and at least two years of hospital pharmacy experience, with expertise in unit-dose and IV admixture processes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Texas.
• Two years hospital pharmacist experience required.

Responsibilities

• Fills and labels prescriptions and provides drug information for in-patients, out-patients, staff.
• Supervises pharmacy technical staff and mentors pharmacists, students, or residents.
• Participates in the Medication Use Evaluation and Process Improvement programs.
• Maintains medication profiles and IV solution preparation.
• Documents clinical interventions and ensures safe patient care.
