Qualifications

• Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy or have a Massachusetts Pharmacy Intern License.
• Technicians must have current active National Certification verified by PTCB or ExCPT.
• As part of the employment screening process, to be compliant with URAC requirements, employees hired into this role must pass a drug screen.
• Must have 4-5 years' of pharmacy experience.
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate professionally over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow patient account base for the specialty pharmacy program.
• Recruitment activities to enroll patients into the specialty program with defined targets.
• Retain patients by encouraging adherence and coordinating with clinics and pharmacists.
• Develop internal and external relationships with providers and payers to support access and care.
• Process prior authorizations and copay assistance; coordinate with financial services as needed.
• Maintain documentation in the EMR and communicate clearly with team members.
