Job summary

Qualifications

• PharmD or B.S. pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
• Licensed pharmacist in Vermont.
• Minimum one year of experience in retail/mail/call center/specialty/home infusion pharmacy within the past five years.
• Minimum one year of experience in a health-system pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triages and answers questions related to specialty pharmacy prescription fills and prior authorizations.
• Dispenses medications according to prescriptions and resolves medication-related problems.
• Counsels patients and health care professionals on proper use of medications and maintains sound clinical judgement.
