Job summary

The Specialty Operations Pharmacist at UVM Health - UVM Medical Center serves the needs of the UVMMC Specialty Pharmacy patients. Qualifications

• Pharmacist must hold a PharmD or ACPE-accredited B.S. in Pharmacy.
• Licensed to practice as a pharmacist in Vermont.
• Minimum one year experience in retail/mail/call center/specialty/home infusion pharmacy within past 5 years.
• Minimum one year experience in health system pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triaging and answering questions related to specialty pharmacy prescription fills and prior authorizations.
• Dispensing medications according to prescription orders and resolving medication-related problems.
• Counseling patients and health care professionals on proper use of medications.
• Maintain good business practices and clinical judgement to support department success and patient outcomes.

Job Summary

The Specialty Operations Pharmacist services the needs of the UVMMC Specialty Pharmacy patients. The pharmacist will work in the Specialty Pharmacy. Education

PharmD or B.S pharmacy degree from ACPE accredited college of pharmacy.

Licensed pharmacist in Vermont.

Experience
