Job summary

ANI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Specialty Pharmaceutical Representative for the Northeast region. This remote role focuses on clinical promotion, territory planning, and working with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of specialty therapies.

The candidate will identify physicians and patients, build access strategies, and ensure compliant, patient-centered care while meeting territory sales targets. Travel is required 40–60% depending on geography.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated success in Specialty Pharmaceutical sales.
  • Product launch experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends for events.
  • Willingness to travel 40–60% depending on geography.

Responsibilities

  • Drive utilization of assigned products for appropriate patients through clinical promotion and education to targeted HCPs.
  • Build and execute territory strategy and account-specific plans to drive clinician and patient identification, brand awareness, and product growth in assigned specialties; continuously assessing growth opportunities.
  • Prioritize and manage resources, activities, and time to optimize access to and development of accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Specialty Therapeutics Team and internal teams to ensure seamless patient onboarding and treatment initiation.
  • Demonstrate integrity and compliance in all interactions.
  • Product launch experience is preferred, including a working knowledge of government and commercial payers
  • Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory pharmaceutical industry requirements
  • Experience leading and executing territory-level business planning activities
  • Understanding of patient services and specialty channel distribution preferred

About the Role

In this vital role, you will serve as the key product representative for the Specialty Therapeutics Salesforce across a varied range of clinical specialties. The position requires performance-driven individuals with strategic problem-solving skills and high business acumen who can work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. You will possess documented, successful experience in pharmaceutical sales including launching new treatments into competitive spaces with a track record of rapid uptake.

You will drive physician and patient identification, market development, and disease / brand awareness for the business unit’s therapies. You will maintain a high level of knowledge within targeted disease states, product labeling, and achieve territory sales targets and other business objectives through account and customer-specific strategies and ownership. You will be goal oriented and accountable for your individual performance while acting in a professional and compliant manner.

  • Collaborate with the Specialty Therapeutics Team and internal teams including, Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient HUB to help ensure seamless patient onboarding and treatment initiation.
  • Demonstrate integrity and compliance in all interactions.
  • Product launch experience is preferred, including a working knowledge of government and commercial payers
  • Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory pharmaceutical industry requirements
  • Experience leading and executing territory-level business planning activities
  • Understanding of patient services and specialty channel distribution preferred
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Advance degree in business or science preferred.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated success in Specialty Pharmaceutical sales, or equitable work experience as a Registered Dietician is required.
  • Product launch experience is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding and experience working with in-house patient support services are required.
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as needed, for HCP or patient events (both in person and virtual)
  • Depending on geography, must be able to manage a multi-state territory with a diverse customer base
  • Driver's license and overnight travel by air or car is required ranging from 40% - 60% depending on geography and business needsof the individual territory.

The base salary range for this position is$90,000 to $130,000; the exact salary depends on various factors such as experience, skills, education, location, competencies and industry-specific knowledge.In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a competitive short term incentive program based on performance and company results.
