Parker Hannifin in Syracuse, Indiana, is seeking a molding press operator to safely run rubber molding presses and inspect parts with automated robotic systems. You will follow work instructions, monitor production, perform quality checks, and document results.
The role requires basic reading/writing, math, and computer skills, plus the ability to lift and stand for long periods. Eligible for extensive benefits and a 2nd-shift schedule.
The molding press operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating rubber molding presses to produce high-quality molded presses to produce high quality molded components for a diverse range of customer industries. The position follows established work instructions, monitors production processes, performs quality checks, and ensures parts meet customer and company specifications. The operator will monitor an automated robotic inspection system that evaluates molded parts for quality and consistency. This includes observing robot operations, identifying rejected or questionable parts, responding to basic equipment issues, and notifying the correct personnel when problems arise.
