Job summary

The Gill Corporation in El Monte, CA is seeking a Specialty Materials & Processes Operator for the Gillvana, sanding, rework, and aluminum cutting areas. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and requires operating equipment and maintaining SAP records.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment in the Gillvana, Kerfless, sanders within GWI parameters.
• Completes work orders and records materials transactions and labor hours in SAP.
• Documents and tags materials, completes issues, receipts and transfers to B3, B7, B8 inventory within SAP.
• Completes rework orders on time. Updates the rework log accordingly.
• Monitors resins, viscosities, and other key process parameters.
• Ensures cores slices are free of debris, resin plugs and voids, undamaged, and in spec per GWI procedures.
• Flushes out coating system, cleans coater head, conveyors, resin tank per GWI frequency.
• Keeps work area clean and organized, ensures materials are properly stored and accurately inventoried.
• Must be available to work any shift and overtime.
• Other duties may be assigned.

The Gill Corporation is seeking a Specialty Materials & Processes Operator to work in the B7 Gillvana, sanding, rework, and aluminum cutting and expanding areas.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Operator’s duties and responsibilities will include the following.

Responsibilities:

• Operates equipment in the area (Gillvana, Kerfless, sanders, etc.) within GWI parameters.
• Completes workorders and accurately records materials transactions and labor hours in SAP.
• Documents and tags materials, completes issues, receipts and transfers to B3, B7, B8 inventory within SAP.
