Job summary

Stemilt Growers in Wenatchee, WA is seeking a hardworking team member for the Day Shift to assist as a Label Operator, Ticket Writer, Backup Stamper, Helpers and Backup Assistants. Responsibilities include cleaning and refilling label cassettes, supplying packers, keeping the work area organized, and adapting to size changes while maintaining safety and teamwork on a fast-paced line.

Hours are 5:30 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential variation during production; the role may

Qualifications

• Experience with reading pack schedules.
• Must be flexible with working schedule.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have the ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Must understand running orders, fruit sizes, grades and variety.
• Must be able to read in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand 8 to 10 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Clean and refill label cassettes.
• Operate an air hose to clean the tray denester machines.
• Supply packers and stampers with supplies.
• Empty cull boxes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Occasionally supply box machine operator with boxes.
• Ensure that packers always have the supplies needed to pack product.
• In charge of putting supplies away.
• Responsible for keeping the tape machines loaded at all times.
• Must communicate very well and be ready for size changes.
• Dusting and general cleaning to the machine is required.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Location: A Line - Old Station

Working Shift: Day Shift

Hours & Work Days: 5:30 am - 2:00 pm, Monday - Friday; May vary depending on production.

This position will require a pre-employment drug test.
