Job summary

Stemilt in Wenatchee is hiring for a Night Shift team leader responsible for monitoring production quality and motivating the line. Candidates must have strong knowledge of fruit grades and the ability to train new hires. The role requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and basic computer skills. Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor in implementing Stemilt standards.
• Be a team leader and motivate the line.
• Adjust line speed.
• Monitor cost per box.
• Ensure tickets in are cleared.
• Monitor quality of production.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Knowledge of fruit grades/sizes and varieties

Job description

Number of openings: 1 Fulltime, Year Round

Location: A Line –Old Station Plant

Working Shift: Night Shift

Hours & Work Days: 3:45 pm – 1:00 am, Monday - Friday; May vary depending on production.

This position will require a pre-employment drug test

Qualifications:

• Must have knowledge of fruit grades/sizes, varieties, machinery and supplies.
• Must have the ability to train new hires in job functions.
• Must be able to make quick informative decisions during periods of high pressure.
• Must be detail oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have knowledge of pack schedules.
• Be able to do repetitive work while paying attention to detail.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Duties:

• Assist the supervisor implement Stemilt standards throughout the line.
