Brixmor Property Group is seeking a Specialty Leasing Representative to expand non-recurring revenues within its portfolio. The role focuses on sourcing tenants, negotiating lease terms, and analyzing market trends while requiring overnight travel.

The position emphasizes building networks with tenants, brokers, and owners, and delivering clear written and verbal communications in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid office schedule and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• An undergraduate degree.
• 3+ years in specialty leasing, perm leasing either mall or open-air centers.
• Proven Track record.
• Experience in canvassing and cold calling.
• Ability to work independently.
• Superior communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform all specialty leasing activities including market analysis, sourcing new tenants, negotiating lease parameters, lease analysis and closing lease transactions.
• Negotiate and complete lease renewals.
• Develop networks; establish tenant, broker and owner relationships.
• Thoroughly understand demographics, traffic patterns and market trends.
• Be knowledgeable of the specialty leasing activity within the competing shopping centers.
• Excellent communication skills. Communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
• Sales experience in real estate or related field a plus.
• Requires ability to focus on many tasks and requests at once.
• Self-starter. Able to work with minimal direction in a high pressure environment.
• Ability to understand a situation and creatively, logically strategize alternatives and determine a course of action.
• Strong organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and good time management skills are all required competencies.
• Strong mathematical skills required to perform financial calculations.
• Reliable, on-time attendance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Overnight travel required
