American Welding & Gas, Inc. seeks a Specialty Gas Lab Technician in Indianapolis, IN to perform tests and document results for specialty gas cylinders, applying quality control per SOPs and using gas chromatographs and process analyzers.

The role involves certifying gas mixtures, operating gas analysis equipment, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, FDA and DOT guidelines, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Gas chromatography and process gas analyzers experience required or preferred.
• Strong math and Excel/Word skills are expected.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Use gas chromatography and process gas analyzers to certify gas mixtures.
• Operate manual and automatic instruments and equipment.
• Comply with OSHA, EPA, FDA, DOT and CGA guidelines.
• Prepare product for shipment.
• Support quality management per ISO 17025/17034.
