Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a friendly Team Member to support the Specialty team. You will help receive and prepare product, maintain the floor and displays, and assist customers with knowledge of natural foods.

The role emphasizes courteous service, proactive selling, and adherence to health and safety standards. Work includes lifting, standing long hours, and flexible scheduling; experience is not required, but reliability and teamwork are essential to success in a fast-paced, value-driven

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Ability to deliver information clearly to customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Surprises and delights customers with consistent and delicious food.
• Engages in positive and proactive selling.
• Maintains fresh, appealing displays and well-stocked shelves.
• Checks product quality against standards.
• Monitors spoilage to minimize waste and costs.
• Assists with sampling; keeps areas full and clean.
• Maintains back stock and temperature/sanitation logs as required.
• Provides excellent customer service and answers phones courteously.
• Follows procedures for signs, pricing, and safety.
