Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking team members for the Specialty department to support receiving and preparing products, maintain the floor, and assist with customer service. You will contribute to the regional Specialty vision by delivering friendly, efficient service and maintaining cleanliness and organization across the department.

Experience in retail is not required; you will be trained on health and safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to learn product assortment and maintain displays.
• Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Surprises and delights customers with consistent and delicious food.
• Engages in positive and proactive selling.
• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well-stocked.
• Checks product to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Monitors spoilage and supply waste to minimize department expenses.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps sample area clean and attractive.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
