Job summary

Whole Foods Market, Inc. is seeking entry-level Team Members to support the Specialty department. You will assist with product preparation, maintain the Specialty floor and displays, and sell products to help achieve regional goals.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, keeping areas clean, ensuring product freshness, and following health and safety rules. Flexible schedule, competitive hourly pay, and Whole Benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Surprises and delights customers with consistent and delicious food.
• Engages in positive and proactive selling.
• Maintains fresh, appealing displays by keeping cases and shelves clean and stocked.
• Checks product quality to meet standards.
• Monitors spoilage and waste to minimize costs.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps areas clean.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Accesses market information and communicates insights to customers.
• Ensures temperature and sanitation logs are completed; arrives on time and stays scheduled.
• Provides excellent service and uses suggestive selling when appropriate.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, and merchandising.
• Follows health, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintains a clean, safe working and shopping environment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; checks signage and pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
