Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Danbury, CT is hiring for a Specialty Team Member to assist in purchasing, replenishing, and merchandising Specialty products. You will work with team members to maintain shelves, prices, and promotional displays while upholding health and safety standards.

The role emphasizes customer service, familiarity with product knowledge, and accurate stocking. Candidates should have at least 12 months of retail experience and be able to lift 50 pounds and work flexible hours

Qualifications

12+ months of retail experience.
Ability to educate team on product knowledge and convey enthusiasm.
Strong basic math skills.
Willingness to learn about nutritional information and products.
Ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Purchases and replenishes Specialty items through proper buying procedures.
Ensures orders are timely and accurate to monitor inventory turns.
Creates effective merchandising displays and ensures proper signage and pricing.
Participates in national and regional promotional programs.
Assists customers and provides excellent in-store service.
Maintains back stock area organized and safe.
