Job summary

Lakewood Health System in Staples, MN, is seeking a compassionate LPN or Medical Assistant to join our Specialty clinic team. You will support providers, manage patient flow, prepare examinations, and educate patients with clear post-care instructions.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing or MA program background, current LPN license or MA certification, and CPR/BLS. A $5,000 retention bonus applies for NEW full-time hires.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing or Medical Assistant program.
Must have and maintain a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or Medical Assistant certification.
BLS Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

Provide empathetic, high-quality patient care within our Specialty clinic setting.
Support our Specialty Providers with collaboration of care during patient visits.
Prepare and assist clinic visit preparation.
Manage patient flow, exam room preparation, and supply organization.
Handle in-basket items, patient calls, patient form completion, report work.
Provide thorough patient education and post-care instructions as guided by your provider.
