Job summary

Lakewood Health System in Staples, MN, is seeking a compassionate LPN or Medical Assistant to join our Specialty clinic team. You will support providers, manage patient flow, prepare examinations, and educate patients with clear post-care instructions.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing or MA program background, current LPN license or MA certification, and CPR/BLS. A $5,000 retention bonus applies for NEW full-time hires.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing or Medical Assistant program.
• Must have and maintain a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or Medical Assistant certification.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide empathetic, high-quality patient care within our Specialty clinic setting.
• Support our Specialty Providers with collaboration of care during patient visits.
• Prepare and assist clinic visit preparation.
• Manage patient flow, exam room preparation, and supply organization.
• Handle in-basket items, patient calls, patient form completion, report work.
• Provide thorough patient education and post-care instructions as guided by your provider.
