Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for clinic support across multiple West Region sites, including Minneapolis. You will assist providers, manage patient flow, and deliver timely care in outpatient settings.

The role requires an LPN from an approved program and active state licensure (MN or WI when applicable), plus BLS. The position offers day shifts, 1.0 FTE, and a starting bonus for external talent.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree from a Board of Nursing approved LPN program.
• Two years clinic LPN experience (preferred).
• Licensed Practical Nurse MN BON or Licensed Practical Nurse Wisconsin (if working in Wisconsin or interacting with Wisconsin patients remotely) may require both state licenses based on the services provided at the location hired.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care support as delegated by Provider or RN.
• Administers therapies including medications, scheduling follow up visits or other support.
• Assists in preparing patients for physician exams and documents in the electronic medical record.
• Cleans, stocks and organizes exam rooms and prepares equipment as needed.
• Coordinates communication of medical information and ensures accurate charting in the EMR.
