Job summary

externallincarecareers is seeking a Specialty Equipment Technician to handle the packaging and shipping of CPAP and Bilevel devices in a warehouse setting. You will follow company policies to ensure patient orders are accurate and delivered on time.

Responsibilities include preparing and shipping equipment, protecting items in transit, maintaining inventory, communicating order status to management, and keeping the warehouse clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Must possess good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must be computer-literate (including Microsoft Office) with excellent documentation skills.
• Must be able to read and interpret instructions.
• Work independently or in a group setting.

• Keeps daily inventory of devices.
• Proper communication with management on pending orders and inventory status.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of warehouse/storage area.
• Follows applicable policies and procedures including OSHA and Emergency Planning.
• Represents the company through professional appearance, actions, and patient care activities.
• May serve as a backup to other employees for vacation, illness, or other absences.
• May be required to work overtime and/or on Saturdays to ensure orders are fulfilled for the month.

The Specialty Equipment Technician is responsible for the packaging and shipping of CPAP & Bilevel devices in a warehouse setting. This employee uses company resources, policies, and procedures to provide excellent customer service. They will use appropriate technologies and follow processes in accordance with company standards to ensure patient contact is handled with accuracy and operational effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepares and ships CPAP/Bilevel equipment
• Ensures proper packaging to avoid damage of equipment in transit
• Keeps daily inventory of devices
• Proper communication with management on pending orders and inventory status
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of warehouse/storage area
• Follows applicable policies and procedures of the company, including those in the Safety & Regulatory Manual including but not limited to General Safety, OSHA, and Emergency Planning
• Represents the company through professional personal appearance, actions, and patient care activities
• May serve as a backup to other employees for vacation, illness, or other periods of absenteeism
• May be required to work overtime and/or on Saturdays to ensure orders are fulfilled for the month
