Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking an Environmental Services Specialty Technician to perform floor care and specialized cleaning across hospital areas, including stairwells, hallways, and public spaces. You will operate scrubbers, buffers, polishers, extractors, and wet vacuums to maintain flooring surfaces and support patient safety.

You will also work in specialty units, ensuring disinfecting protocols, quality assurance, and thorough communication with hospital staff to maintain a safe care

Qualifications

• Performs basic and specialized cleaning of hospital floors
• Operates floor care equipment safely and effectively
• Maintains clean and safe environments per facility standards

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care and maintenance throughout the facility, including hard surfaces and carpeting
• Clean and disinfect specialty units and equipment (Surgical Services, Endoscopy, etc.)
• Support conference room setup/dismantle and other tasks as needed
• Maintain quality assurance to reduce pathogens and ensure patient safety
