Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Floor Technician to perform major cleaning and refinishing throughout the hospital, maintaining a professional demeanor while serving patients, families and staff. The role requires adherence to Environmental Services procedures and interaction with diverse patient groups.

The Floor Technician will follow established schedules for dust mopping, wet mopping, scrubbing, and burnishing floors, with duties expanding as needed by supervision and hospital needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform major floor cleaning and refinishing according to schedules and methods.
• Ability to work with patients, families and staff maintaining professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform major floor cleaning and refinishing functions per schedule.
• Dust mop, wet/spot mop and scrub floors with an automatic scrubbing machine.
• Burnish floors according to daily and weekly schedule.
• Follow additional job-related instructions and duties as assigned by supervisors.
