Job summary

CenterWell Pharmacy in Ohio is seeking a Specialty Dispensing Pharmacist 2 to process and dispense Specialty Rx orders, including mail-to-home and provider-office shipments. The role requires interpretation and independent action in a production environment.

You will collaborate with Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists to ensure accurate dispensing, and will develop programs to improve outcomes for patients on Specialty medications. Onsite role with 40-hour weeks and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited college (RPH or PharmD).
• Active Ohio Pharmacist license with no disciplinary action.
• Able to stand for up to 10 hours/day and lift up to 30 lbs.

The Specialty Dispensing Pharmacist 2 processes and dispenses Specialty Rx medication. The Specialty Dispensing Pharmacist 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Location: This is an onsite role. 9843 Windisch Rd,_W_est Chester,OH45069

Shift: This department operates Monday-Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM. The shift will either be five 8 hour shifts (Mon-Fri) OR four 10 hour shifts (Tue-Fri) or (Mon-Thur).

The Specialty Dispensing Pharmacist 2 works in a production environment and:

• Applies clinical and operational expertise to ensure effective and compliant processing and dispensing of Specialty pharmacy prescription orders to be mailed to patients’ homes and/or provider offices.
• Collaborates directly with Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists to ensure the accurate and efficient dispensing of Specialty medications.
• Develops and integrates programs developed to improve overall health outcomes with a focus on Specialty medications. .

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy (RPH or PharmD)
• Active Pharmacist license from the state of Ohio with no disciplinary action
• Able to stand for up to 10 hours/day
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs

Role Desirables:

• High volume mail order or retail pharmacy experience
• Specialty pharmacy experience

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$115,200 - $158,400 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
