Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE), helping create a Patient for Life (PFL). The role involves assisting with patient care, front desk coordination, and lab duties, while maintaining a clean, safe operatory and a positive team environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma or GED, possibly a 1-year certificate, and have a valid driver’s license with transportation for travel to multiple offices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One-year certificate from a college or technical school preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance required.
• Ability to travel to multiple offices as needed.
• Must be able to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatory.
• Assist orthodontists and other clinicians to ensure smooth schedules.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment.
• Record patient charting and health history in the digital system.
• Participate in daily huddles and team meetings.
