Job summary

Dedham Modern Dentistry is hiring a Dental Assistant in Dedham, MA. You will support clinicians and front-office staff to deliver the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) and create a Patient for Life (PFL). A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, assisting with examinations, sterilizing equipment, taking radiographs, and maintaining clean operatories. Travel between offices may be required for specialty support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Preferred: One-year certificate from a college or technical school or equivalent.
• Must have valid driver’s licence and auto insurance for Specialty Dental Assistants.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians to prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatory rooms according to guidelines.
• Record patient charts and clinician notes in digital records.
• Prepare treatment records, consents and health history for clinician review.
• Assist in radiographs and intra-oral photography as directed.
• Maintain supply levels and ensure a clean, safe patient environment.
• Support PPE and strive for a Perfect Patient Experience (PPE).
• Travel to multiple offices as needed for specialty support.
