Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians at Framingham Modern Dentistry. You will contribute to the Perfect Patient Experience and promote a patient-for-life approach. The role involves assisting dentists, handling patient prep, and maintaining sterile, organized operatory spaces.

The position requires high school diploma or GED, plus relevant dental training certification. A valid driver's license and ability to travel between offices are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state certifications/licensure as mandated.
• One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school or equivalent experience preferred.
• Specialty dental assistants must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance and travel to multiple offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist to deliver efficient care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment per infection control guidelines.
• Assist orthodontists and other clinicians during procedures; maintain operatory cleanliness.
• Record patient charts and notes in the digital system; ensure accuracy of health histories.
