TreeHoppers Aerial Adventure Park is seeking a Specialty Construction Laborer to help build, install, and repair our aerial attractions. You’ll work outdoors in a forest setting, contribute to park expansions, and support sister parks on the same property.

You’ll train to operate platforms, zip-line supports, and heavy tools while following safety procedures. This role offers paid training, uniform provisions, and opportunities to grow specialized construction skills in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to use hand and power tools safely, or willing to learn.
• Willing to work at heights with fall protection (training provided).
• Follow directions and work well as part of a crew.
• Reliable with punctuality and following instructions.
• Own reliable transportation.
• Able to pass a drug test.
• Flexible schedule, including some weekends/holidays when needed.
• Stand, walk, climb, bend, and kneel for up to 8 hours; lift up to 50 lbs; work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Help build, install, and repair attractions, structures, and displays across our parks.
• Dig holes, set posts and poles, and help pour concrete footings.
• Carry, load, and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assemble platforms, walls, frames, and fencing per lead builders' directions.
• Install and remove seasonal attractions and displays (e.g., holiday light displays).
• Run, pull, and secure cables, ropes, and cords as directed.
• Work at heights using fall protection, ladders, and aerial lifts after training.
• Operate equipment such as skid steers, compact excavators, and aerial lifts after training.
• Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized; store tools properly.

Join TreeHoppers, the largest aerial adventure park in Central Florida, as a Specialty Construction Laborer. You'll help build, install, and repair the one-of-a-kind attractions that make our parks special, from aerial course platforms and zip lines in our Old Florida forest to the structures and displays at our sister parks. You'll also have the opportunity to work at our sister parks on the same Dade City property: Snowcat Ridge, Florida's first Alpine Snow Park; Wunder Glow, our holiday light experience; and SCREAM-A-GEDDON, Florida's Premier Horror Park. This is a great opportunity to learn specialty construction skills, work outdoors, and see guests enjoy what you helped build.

Key Responsibilities

• Help build, install, and repair attractions, structures, and displays across our parks
• Dig holes, set posts and poles, and help pour concrete footings
• Carry, load, and unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Assemble platforms, walls, frames, and fencing following directions from lead builders and fabricators
• Help install and remove seasonal attractions and displays, such as holiday light displays and haunted house sets
• Run, pull, and secure cables, ropes, and cords as directed
• Work at heights using fall protection, ladders, and aerial lifts once trained
• Operate equipment, such as skid steers, compact excavators, and aerial lifts, after training and approval
• Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized, and put away tools and materials at the end of each day
• Follow all safety procedures, wear required protective equipment, and report hazards to a supervisor immediately

Work Areas You May Be Assigned To

• TreeHoppers: Help build and repair platforms, bridges, zip lines, and course structures in the forest
• Snowcat Ridge: Help set up and maintain structures and equipment for our winter snow park season
• Wunder Glow: Help install and remove poles, cable spans, and holiday light displays
• SCREAM-A-GEDDON: Help build haunted house walls, sets, and scenery

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Able to use hand and power tools safely, or willing to learn
• Willing to work at heights using fall protection (training provided)
• Able to follow directions and work well as part of a crew
• Reliable with punctuality and following instructions
• Own reliable transportation
• Able to pass a drug test
• Available for a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays when projects require
• Able to stand, walk, climb, bend, and kneel for up to 8 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and various weather conditions

Helpful but Not Required

• Construction, landscaping, carpentry, or general labor experience (training provided)
• Experience operating skid steers, compact excavators, forklifts, or aerial lifts
• Experience with concrete, fencing, or rigging
